Established in St.Ives, Cornwall, in 1992. Natural Balance Surf Co caters for all surfing needs, both in and out of the water. Besides Wetsuits and other surf equipment, they stock a large range of Womens, Mens, Boys and Girls clothing and footwear.
The Reason For Change
Chris Tyler, owner of Natural Balance Surf Co, was using an almost home made ePOS solution at his busy St Ives shop. Although it had some basic functionality it did not hold up to the busy retail environment. Also managing stock and generating reports was cumbersome and not ideal.
Requirements
Natural Balance surf Co required an ePOS system that will stand up to the busy retail environment, whilst being quick and easy to use in store. Strong reporting functionality is required as well as an efficient way to manage stock.
The Solution
After carrying out a full system demonstration and showing Chris the advantages of user profiles, that allowed him to restrict the functionality for users that did not need full rights within the system, custom report generation, the flexibility of stock code and description generation he agreed to have the system installed.

Since the system has been in Chris is seeing the benefits of being advantages of being able to access the system from home and the control he now has. With the full training provided as part of the installation all staff are able to complete transactions quickly and easily. With the up to the minute reporting and stock management Chris is able to produce real time reports enabling him to make management decisions saving him time and money
